Editorial Policy

This page describes how The Fresh Pulse selects, writes, and updates the stories you read.

Our standards

  • Articles are written to summarize and explain developing stories clearly.
  • The site does not intentionally publish misleading headlines.
  • Corrections will be made when new verified information becomes available.
  • Developing stories may change as more information is released; we mark every meaningful update with a timestamp.

Sources

We rely on primary sources where possible — official statements, documents, press conferences, and named reporting. When we cite other outlets, we link to them and attribute clearly.

Originality

We do not republish other outlets' articles. Our editors write original summaries and explainers. If a story is breaking and based heavily on another outlet's reporting, we say so in the article.

Updates and developing stories

For stories in motion, we update the article body with a clear timestamp at the top. Major changes are noted; minor edits for clarity and typos are not.

Independence

Advertising is sold separately from editorial. Advertisers have no influence over what we cover or how.

Author and byline policy

The Fresh Pulse uses transparent bylines. Articles may be published under Howard Chen or The Fresh Pulse News Desk. The Fresh Pulse News Desk is an editorial account used for short updates, roundups, developing-story summaries, and trending-news briefs. It is currently edited by Howard Chen. The site does not use fake authors, fake identities, or fake biographies.

AI use

We do not use AI to generate full articles. Editors may use tools for research, transcription, or copy editing, but final writing and judgment is human.
